Stock turns as we dump barrels, so message us to confirm what’s on the ground before you drive out.
Freshly dumped — wet
Just emptied, still wet inside, and it smells like it. This is the one brewers, hot sauce makers, coffee roasters and syrup producers want, because the wood still has bourbon in it. Goes fastest — ask before you drive.
Dried — decor grade
Emptied and dried out. Solid oak, iron hoops, char still visible inside. This is the one for bar builds, pub tables, whiskey rooms, garage bars and event decor.
Barrel heads
Just the round head — roughly 21 inches across. Fits in a car. People turn these into signs, clocks, serving trays, wall art and address plaques. Best seller for anyone who wants the look without the whole barrel.
Halves and planters
Cut in half for planters, ice tubs, dog beds, garden features and drink stations. Sold as a pair or singly. [ ] CONFIRM: do you cut these yourself, and what’s the lead time?

Custom stamps and engraving.
A branded head turns a $200 barrel into a gift. Family name, company logo, a wedding date, a bar name — burned or engraved into the barrel head before you take it.
Good for groomsman gifts, client gifts, restaurant and bar fit-outs, and anybody putting a barrel somewhere people will look at it.

A whole barrel weighs roughly 110 pounds empty and will not fit in a sedan. Bring a truck, an SUV with the seats down, or a trailer.

We can deliver for a fee. Send us your address and how many barrels you want and we’ll quote it — the number depends on distance and how many you’re taking.

The ones we get asked.
Will it still smell like bourbon?
A freshly dumped barrel absolutely will — that’s the whole point of buying one wet. A dried barrel holds the smell in the wood but it fades over time and with airing out. If the aroma matters for what you’re making, ask for a wet one and get it soon after we dump.
Can I age beer, hot sauce or syrup in it?
People do it all the time, and a freshly dumped barrel is what you want. We sell the barrel as-is — we don’t clean, sanitise or certify it for food use, so preparing it for whatever you’re making is on you. Plenty of guidance out there on how brewers handle it.
What condition are they in?
Used. These held bourbon for years in a working rickhouse, so expect stains, some seepage marks, and honest wear on the hoops and staves. That character is why people want them. We don’t sell barrels that are broken, badly damaged or missing hoops.
How big and how heavy?
A standard 53-gallon American oak barrel is roughly 35 inches tall and about 21 inches across the head, and weighs somewhere around 110 pounds empty. Two people can move one comfortably. One person can roll it.
Do you have a lot of them?
Stock moves with our dumping schedule, so it varies. If you want several — for a bar build, an event, a brewery run — message us with the number and the date you need them and we’ll tell you what we can put aside.
Can I come look first?
Yes. Message us and we’ll set a time. We’d rather you see it and be happy than buy it sight unseen.
